Bhubaneswar, September 6: The player draft for the Odisha T20 League 2026 – CM Trophy was held today by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA). With the completion of the draft, the squads of all six franchises have been finalised for the upcoming season.
Each franchise selected a total of 16 players through the draft. Several talented cricketers from different parts of Odisha participated in the process, providing them with an opportunity to compete on a professional platform and take another important step forward in their careers.
Former Indian cricketers Suresh Raina and Debashish Mohanty have also been announced as the brand ambassadors of the league. Their association is expected to add further experience, recognition and credibility to the tournament.
The six franchises participating in the Odisha T20 League 2026 – CM Trophy are:

On the occasion, OCA Secretary Mr. Sanjay Behera said that the completion of the player draft marks an important milestone ahead of the new season. He also highlighted the league’s role in creating opportunities for cricketers from Odisha.
> “As we move forward with the second edition of the Odisha T20 League 2026 – CM Trophy, I would like to thank the owners, coaches, team managers of all the teams and every member of the Odisha Cricket Association for their continued support. The encouraging interest shown by franchise owners and investors is a positive sign for the commercial growth of the league. More importantly, the tournament is being organised with the objective of creating a strong platform for our players and providing them with a pathway to progress to the next level. We will continue our efforts to strengthen the league, provide more opportunities to our cricketers and take Odisha cricket forward.”
The event was attended by OCA President Mr. Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, Secretary Mr. Sanjay Behera, Vice-President Mr. Jagmohan Pattnaik, Treasurer Mr. Bikash Pradhan and Joint Secretary Mr. Prabhat Kumar Bhol.
