Narendra Modi ji addressed a public meeting in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu on Monday and reassured the public that if the NDA alliance secures victory in the forthcoming elections, both Tamil Nadu and the entire nation will experience swift progress, accompanied by resolute measures against corruption and drug mafias linked to the DMK-Congress. During this event, Lok Sabha candidates from Kanyakumari Shri P. Radhakrishnan, from Tirunelveli Shri Nainar Nagendran, from Virudhunagar Smt R. Radhika, from Thoothukudi Shri S. Dr. Vijayaseelan and from Tenkasi Shri John Pandian and other leaders were present. In his address, PM Shri Narendra Modi greeted the crowd with traditional ‘Vannakam’.
Shri Modi remarked on the overwhelming enthusiasm of the crowd, suggesting that it signifies a shift away from the DMK and its alliance in Tamil Nadu. He noted that the entire state is echoing the slogan ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar’. Shri Narendra Modi highlighted the release of BJP’s Sankalp Patra on the occasion of Tamil Puthandu, emphasizing its role in committing to the nation’s development with the Modi Ki Guarantee. He noted that under Ayushman Bharat, over 73 lakh beneficiaries in Kerala have already received financial aid. Additionally, Modi announced that all senior citizens above 70 years would now receive free medical treatment under Ayushman Yojana, furthering his guarantee. Shri Modi emphasized the commitment to expand the number of ‘Kisan Samriddhi Kendra’ and transform India into the world’s food processing hub. The BJP plans to establish new production and processing units in the fisheries sector and incentivize fishermen to cultivate seaweed and pearls. Highlighting the BJP’s track record in Tamil Nadu’s development over the past decade, Shri Modi mentioned the launch of the Vande Bharata Train between Chennai and Tirunelveli to improve regional connectivity. Additionally, the BJP has pledged to introduce bullet trains in Southern states.

Additionally, pregnant women have received financial assistance exceeding 800 crore rupees. Through the Mudra Yojana, nearly 3 lakh crore rupees have been extended to the people of Tamil Nadu. The BJP’s manifesto promises significant benefits for women in the state.
Shri Modi stated that those who love the Tamil language and culture have now made BJP their first choice. Now, the BJP has guaranteed to promote the Tamil language’s global recognition in its manifesto. BJP will also work day and night to bring Tamil Nadu’s heritage sites onto the global tourist map. Shri Modi noted that the BJP has also pledged to establish Thiruvallur cultural centers worldwide.
