Chennai, July 2026: Mornings in Chennai are about to get a delicious Punjabi twist as The Kitchen by Chef Deepa launches its much awaited Breakfast Menu, celebrating the rich culinary traditions of Amritsar with an array of authentic, homestyle favourites.
Curated by renowned Amritsari chef Deepa Arora, the new breakfast menu brings together recipes that have been cherished across generations, offering diners an authentic taste of Punjab without leaving the city.
The menu features an indulgent selection of Aloo Parathas, Paneer Parathas, Mooli Parathas, Aloo Gobi Parathas, Kulchas, Aloo Kulchas, Paneer Kulchas, Puri with Aloo Loungi, and the ever popular Chole Bhature, prepared using traditional techniques and wholesome ingredients. Guests can choose from both tandoor-baked and tawa-cooked options, each served with accompaniments that elevate the experience.
No Punjabi breakfast is complete without refreshing beverages, and the menu offers classics such as Punjabi Sweet Lassi, Masala Chaach, Amritsari Shikanjeevi, Thandai, and Rose Milk. Those with a sweet tooth can round off their meal with comforting desserts including Saffron Suji Halwa, Lahori Phirnee, and Jamun Rabri.
