Mumbai, June, 2025: Sony SAB’s Veer Hanuman continues to impress with its powerful cast and the lesser-known stories of young Hanuman. Besides the other characters, one that stands out is Queen Kaikeyi, played by Hunar Hali Gandhi, who has stepped into the show. known for her strong screen presence and depth of performance, Hunar brings a refreshing perspective to one of mythology’s layered characters.
A refreshing perspective on the conventional portrayal of Kaikeyi, she is introduced as a fierce warrior queen, a devoted wife, and a deeply loving mother, full of complexity and emotional nuance. It is a role layered with emotional conflict, courage, and maternal instinct, making Kaikeyi pivotal to the show’s larger arc.
Hunar Hali Gandhi, reflecting on her portrayal of Kaikeyi, shared:”I’m incredibly grateful to God that I got this opportunity for this role.
